Well done everyone: St Felix is now a ‘LiveSimply Award’ parish

Inspired by Pope Francis’ encyclical Laudato Si’ we have been working towards the LiveSimply Award.

 

The award is an opportunity for Catholic communities to answer the call for us to care for our common home and stand in solidarity with our sisters and brothers around the world by Living simply, Living sustainably with creation, Standing in solidarity with people living in poverty

 

On Sunday 1st February 2026 at our 10.00 a.m. Mass Jane Crone, Community Participation Coordinator for CAFOD in East Anglia and Brentwood presented the LiveSimply Award plaque to the parish

 

The plaque is on permanent display in our church in recognition and celebration of our achievement, and also to remind us that this is a milestone on our continuing journey to Live More Simply.

 

Receiving this award is a good opportunity to renew our commitment to ongoing prayer and action….
