School - Closed for the Summer

Our school breaks up this week for the summer holidays. We wish the staff a good rest after their extremely hard work this year.

OFSTED has given the school a very good report and the RE inspection spoke about their outstanding achievements.

We ask God to bless all our children during the summer break, keeping them safe and happy whatever they are doing.

Something to think about...and act on?

Did you know that in the UK every person uses approximately 150 litres of water a day, a figure that has been growing every year by 1% since 1930. If you take into account the water that is needed to produce the food and products we consume in yiur day-to-day life you actually consume 3400 litres per day

Christmas Shoeboxes

Many of you have prepared shoe boxes full of goodies for children who receive little or nothing at Christmas for several years... and may well have already started collecting suitable items for your next box! This year we are going to support the Link to Hope Shoebox Appeal

which delivers boxes to Families or Elderly People [not just the children] in need in Ukraine, Bulgaria, Moldova and Romania. Brochures with more information will be available in the narthex next week-end.

We also thought it would be a good thing for our parish to work together during Advent and over the Christmas season to provide something of longer lasting benefit to a family and/or community in need... maybe something like a Community Water Supply? - more later...We also thought it would be a good thing for our parish to work together during Advent and over the Christmas season to provide something of longer lasting benefit to a family and/or community in need... maybe something like a Community Water Supply? - more later...
